I got busy Sunday..
I went to church in the morning, and went to rehearsal for my students performance next December 10th..
My Korean students will also perform, so they also went to the rehearsal..
Met Mi Yeon unnie there, and I told her I could take Eun Su & Hyun Su home after the rehearsal..
So, it was a tiring rehearsal.. Hot weather & crowded people..
There was a little problem, when Eun Su suddenly cried..
She got her simcard blocked bcoz of the Security Option.. >.<
Somehow I got panicky also, but it's just PUK number.. It won't be any problem if I can find the simcard starterpack..
So, I took her home after the rehearsal, she looked so sad & fragile.. When I asked her, she answered: I'm just sleepy..
but I knew she's not just sleepy, she's sad & didn't know what to do..
After I took her home, I helped her to get the PUK number.. It didn't take too long, then.. Tadaaaa.. Her phone is back hahaha..
She's so happy & relieved.. Glad to see her smiling again..
So, it was 4 p.m..
Mi Yeon unnie said that they would have dinner at Myoung Ga (Korean restaurant in Surabaya), and she would like me to join them..
She said we still had 1 hour for study Korean language.. Yay!
I study few words, and I was so happy she helped me for my Henecian projects.. Yay!
at 5 p.m, we went to Myoung Ga..
actually it's too early to have dinner at that time, but unnie said that in Indonesia, kids had to sleep earlier, so they also had to have earlier dinner.
So, that was the 1st time I went to Myoung Ga..
The place is very nice, they have Korean food in right style.. (but wonder why there wasn't any tteokbokki there, while I actually want to eat tteokbokki haha..)
So, unnie order a Dolsot Bibimbab & Galgi (pork & ribs)..
They have Kimchi and other things also..
It was a very nice meal.. (na, baebullaeyo.. it's only 2 kinds of meal but already made me full! Even 5 of us ate it, still we didn't finish all!)
I was just knew that Korean people enjoy they barbeque meat with ssada style.. They wrap it inside lettuce, with rice & meat inside, and ssadajhang.. then ate it in a wrap..
It's sooo yummy!!

For dessert they have fruit & chocolate mochi.. I don't like sweet chocolate, so I thought it would be sweet.. but it's bitter! and I love the chocolate mochi.. very nice!
Thank you Mi Yeon unnie for the treat..

Next time, I will treat you & your family..
Can't imagine how lonely I am without you and your family if you all back to Korea T__T
I'm back.. again!
after my crazy schedules (seems like I got more schedules than artists haha!!)
No, it's just the deadline..
We will have a home concert on 10th of December, so I have to prepare so many things, check everything (include the preparation of my own students & other students also)..
Then, I still have to submit all the end semester reports of School Students..
Haha.. lots to do! But I try to do them one by one, and still haven't done yet till now..
Oh well.. but at least I tried to do my best..
I write this blog while listening to Kim Hyun Joong's latest mini album..
and now he sing: I'm Your Man (na neun nee namja ya)
This song made me wondering my past.. It's been a while (or long?), I've broke up with my ex..
It wasn't the 1st broke up, it happened few times, but at last I tried to let it go.. 1st time, I was crying.. begging for chance to back again.. but after it happened few times, I realize I did something useless, useless for myself, useless for my life, and useless for others too..
So, the final.. I didn't cry at all.. I just took time to keep myself busy, to make sure I can get through this.. I dunno, somehow the universe has its own way to show that the guy wasn't good for me, even when I took long time to understand.. at least I finally understand..
(by the way, till now, I'm the one who always get dumped, funny hah?! ~ I see a little similarity with Kim Hyun Joong haha!)
Hey! Look at me now, I got my new hair cut, I got my life back & even better, I start to hang out again with friends.. and the most important thing, I'm happy! I really enjoy my life, enjoy myself, and I enjoy what I'm doing (my job & my daily activities, and my new hobbies.. :p)
Kim Hyun Joong taught me how to live the dream, how to work hard to reach something worthy..
one of my bestfriend that already gone to Ireland said to me, 'don't waste too much time, especially for something unnecessary'
So, I move on..
Haha.. It's weird, talking something that already passed..
but who I am now, is just the results of who I was..
Still, it doesn't change my taste of music.. They always take me travel through dimension, past-present-future.. who knows?
Today is a bright-shiny-uncertainty cloudy-day..
I woke up very early anyway..
and getting a little bit sleepy now (it's 3 p.m now here in my place!), but still got many things to do, got another students next hour..
I've read on Facebook, today is a Musician Day.. is it true?
Well, here's a repost from friends related to Musician Day:
If you ask yourself why musicians charge so much for performances. We don't get paid vacation, we don't get paid sick days, we don't get bonuses for outstanding performances nor for Christmas. We don't have insurance plans nor do we qualify for unemployment. We sacrifice our family on special days so that we can bring happiness to others. Illness or personal affairs are not excuses for a bad performance. Next time you ask, remember that musicians are musicians because of the love of music, but that love doesn't pay debts. Happy Musicians Day!!Once I read that..
Yeah! it's totally true!
People often asked me, why the charge of performance was expensive..
as a musician, we didn't work as white-collars, they might work 5 days a week (or 6 days a week) but we work almost everyday without day-off.. The peak schedules usually appear in public holiday, haha..
But I told my friends, I enjoy my job.. I love my job..
I want to be a musician because I love music & I choose to live my dream (just like Kim Hyun Joong :p)
So, it's been a long typing though..
but again i want to say: Happy Musician Day
for all the musician in the world.. We proud having something we love to do as our job!
I got my new hair cut & color today..
First time, I enter the place, I already prepared myself to accept any transformation they will suggest..
So, yay here's my new hair cut & hair color..
I feel fresh & I'm happy with this mahogany + red highlight..
I look younger, fresh, and edgy..
What a wonderful weekend..
it's the 5th week, and usually on 5th week piano teachers got their day off..
So, yesterday I went to my Korean student's apartment..
They said they only have a little space in their apartment, but I wonder how little it was.. Once I arrived there, and they opened the door, it was.. big.. or should I say, huge??
My future apartment (which not so far from their apartment) can be seen from their window, and the size of my future apartment wasn't big at all, it's just a small place fit for me & my sis (and I think that's more than enough considering that both of us will be working since morning till night, so we only use the apartment for resting, so it wouldn't be matter for us with that size of apartment..)
Well.. Song Eun Su & Song Hyun Su is my Korean piano students..
They live with their mom & their younger brother, their dad already gone to Korea last week.. They will leave Indonesia next December T__T (that's why I'm so sad.. because I love them, they just so adorable & smart!)
Their younger brother, Song Ji Hu is still in Kindergarten & he's very talkative.. (by the way, I asked Eun Su & Hyun Su whether their mom gave the name to Ji Hu based on the 'Boys Over Flower' or not.. and they said they didn't know, so I asked that to Mi Yeon unnie, and she said 'yes' hahahaha.. Really Kim Hyun Joong's fans also..)
Earlier, Eun Su texted me, she said I shouldn't take any lunch before I came to their place because her mom would cook gimchi bokk-eumbab (kimchi fried rice) for me.. Wow!!! Such a treat for me.. haha.. Very happy though when I read the text messages..
I promised to Mi Yeon unnie to give Eun Su & Hyun Su extra lesson without any additional payment, but I asked for a favor from Eun Su & Hyun Su to teach me Korean language.. (fair enough right?) After giving them lesson to prepare their piano recital which would be held on December 10th, Mi Yeon unnie let us all had lunch.. She already prepared the meal.. with medium fried egg on top.. Believe me! It was so yummy!
**here's the pic of Kimchi Bokkeumbab made by Mi Yeon unnie**
She made the kimchi & fried squid also.. but unfortunately I didn't capture the squid for everyone already finished it all (so you can imagine how was the taste if it's already off in minutes! haha)
I tried to enjoy it slowly just to memorize the taste (in case I tried to cook that by myself)
She even gave me the recipes, and taught me how to make kimchi.. Yay! Lucky me!
They also let me try Korean tea, Mi Yeon unnie said it's good for eyes.. Taste very fresh..
After we all finished our meal, we clean up the table.. Eun Su & Hyun Su took a big board to teach me Korean language.. (at first time, I thought they were just going to teach me daily conversation so I can write down the romanization & memorize it.. but Mi Yeon unnie said that Eun Su & Hyun Su want to teach me the Hangeul writing also!!! *shocked* yet *excited*)
They taught me basic alphabet & vocal in Hangeul.. and it wasn't too hard, only need about 20 alphabets and we can combine them to words.. (when you see Chinese alphabets, it was over 2000 words & each words has different meanings, not just 1!)
I'm so happy, I got not just 2 teachers (Eun Su & Hyun Su) but also Mi Yeon unnie & Ji Hu also taught me how to speak & write Korean language.. Thanks to Ji Hu, he even push me to read his pokemon book in Hangeul hahahahaha.. He said he already can read it all.. (and he really did it! he read it loud in front of me, and I was just amazed.. He's really cute & funny especially when he laughed!)
I went there until 3 p.m because I should go to church on 5 p.m for service.. So, by the time I was going to go home, Mi Yeon unnie gave me few books that she didn't need it at all for me to study.. It was a basic conversation but in Hangeul.. So she let me try to read it carefully & slowly.. I really like them all.. and feel really sad knowing that they will go back to Korea this December.. But they're just so nice to me, they even said that if I went to Korea someday, I don't need to stay in hotel, I can stay in their house.. Luckily they live in Seoul, the capital city.. yay! So maybe, next year I will visit Korea around October (cross finger! let's pray!), because Mi Yeon unnie said the best time to visit Korea is around March-May (it's spring there!) or September-early November (it's autumn there!)
Thanks to Mi Yeon unnie, Eun Su, Hyun Su, and Ji Hu.. I enjoyed my weekend so much because of all of you..
