Back to Jazzy..

After a long journey of K-Pop especially Kim Hyun Joong and SS501, my music genre hasn't changed at all..
Faithfully to the Jazz music..
When I heard the news that Tompi has come with his latest album 'Sedari Awal' which is made me a little bit wondering, bcoz once he also had a song entitle 'Sedari Dulu' and it's a great song..
So I'm just curious how will it be for the 'Sedari Awal' since the meaning is nearly same but different at the same time..

Now, I'm writing this blog while listening to his latest song 'Waktu Takkan Mampu' and I must admit that this album involved surprising yet interesting arrangement.. Daebak leh! Kekekeke..
It wasn't boring yet wasn't lame at all.. Melancholy but joyful at the same time..
Such a smart package to deliver the song.. (and now I become a music commentator? haha.. Nahh.. just saying ^^)

Since the first time, my genre of music is belong to Jazz music..
I don't know how it all began.. but I think my dad in heaven influenced me so much..
He always made me listen to his fave song when he still alive, mostly oldies songs.. I have to admit, oldies will never die, neither fade away.. Doesn't really understand the mechanism but that's the facts..
Feel so grateful dad gave me those experience, when I stopped Classical Piano lesson, though now I feel a bit regret for that, but still I feel so relieved..
If I didn't stop the piano lesson, I might not be able to find my own ability for composing, arranging, developing, and working on my own song.. Thanks daddy!

I've met Tompi before, at the Jazz Traffic Festival by Suara Surabaya few months ago.. (which ended at dawn put me and my sis on a sleepless night, but hey we had fun!)
We were for Maliq n' The Essentials & Tompi to perform which was totally late for about 2 hours due to LLI performance.. But, that time I met uncle Bubi Chen (who already passed away few months ago not long after the Jazz Traffic) on his wheel chair, glad to see him before he passed away..
I wonder, when will another Jazz Concert be held in my town.. but Surabaya is the Jazzy City ^^ We have great atmosphere for Jazz show, so I'm looking forward for the Jazz Concert..
Got the news for Urban Jazz Crossover, but I won't be at Surabaya that time.. K-Pop time leh.. kekeke..
Chasing the dreams.. ^^ Wish me luck..

Never get bored to these Jazz songs..
Any kind of jazz song, but I prefer easy listening, smooth, fusion, and soul jazz.. I think that suit me more, not saying that I don't like the rest such as blues, rags, and other kind.. I like it too.. ^^

My sis told me to involve myself to any community outside church things and musics..
I wonder what would be suitable for me..
Hmmmmmm..
Maybe Jazz Community? :p
